A few months ago our District VA rep.,
William Bennett, was asked by Jamie Russell, of the VA, if the District Lodges
would be interested in donating shoes or funds to purchase shoes for the
Veterans who live at and/or use the VA facility. During the inspection season
this message was relayed to all Lodges. In all $5,000 worth of shoes (300 pair)
were donated to the Chillicothe VA.
